On self-hosted stages in Local mode, speech-to-text, the language model, and text-to-speech run in your environment: deploy in your VPC or on-prem, and citizen call audio and transcripts for those stages stay inside government-controlled infrastructure. Those stages have no external dependency: leading open models run on your GPUs, and you pay for GPU capacity in your own environment instead of per-minute provider rates.

The controls around the data
Deployment choice is half the story. The other half is what the platform does with records and credentials while it runs:
- Retention windows with automated purge. You set how long recordings and transcripts live per workspace. When the window closes, the purge deletes them.
- Credential encryption. Telephony and model provider credentials are stored encrypted, not in plaintext configuration.
- Tenant isolation with a CI guard. Isolation between organisations is enforced in code and guarded by a CI test, so the boundary cannot quietly regress in a future release.
